Ecotourism in Guyana: my collaboration with Passion Passport

Many explorers over the centuries have believed that Guyana is the home of legendary El Dorado – the lost city made of gold. While gold is an actual industry in the country, Guyana’s biodiversity is a powerful treasure in its own right.

Perhaps you’ve heard of the natural wealth the country possesses – the highest single drop waterfall in the world, the multi-purpose rainforest reserve, the beach where endangered sea turtles nest every year, or the Indigenous groups that have taken the lead in developing eco-tourism in the country. I recently collaborated with Passion Passport to write a little bit about Eco-tourism in Guyana. They were kind enough to publish the article, which has served to make me unreasonably proud of myself. Head over to their site and read about what Guyana has to offer!
